CLARIFICATION REGARDING RTI ACT, 2005

On the basis of the observations of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India on Right to Information Act, 2005 in Civil Apeal No. 6454 of 2011, DOP&T has issued clarification in respect of the information can be provided under RTI Act, 2005.

ORDERS FOR NON PRODUCTIVITY LINKED BONUS (AD-HOC) TO THE CENTRAL GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES FOR THE YEAR 2010-11 ISSUED

Ministry of Finance, department of Expenditure has issued orders for Non Productivity Linked Bonus (Ad-hoc) to the Central Government Employees for the year 2010-11 vide OM No.7/24/2007/E III (A) dated 13^th September, 2011. Amount of the bonus will be equivalent to 30 days emoluments for the accounting year 2010-11 in Group 'C' and 'D' and all non-gazetted employees in Group 'B', who are not covered by any Productivity Linked Bonus Scheme. The calculation ceiling of Rs. 3500/- will remain unchanged. The amount for thirty days would work out to Rs. 3500x30/30.4=Rs,3453.95 (rounded off to Rs.3454/-).
