After long waiting DPC for the promotion of more than 50 AD II/SDE to the post of AD/AEE has been held on 28-01-2011 in the UPSC. The process has taken more than two years. Promotion orders with postings are expected to be issued within a fortnight. The vacancies arised due to these promotions will be filled tharough promotion of the Junior Engineers. The process has already been started.
