MEMORANDUM TO VII CPC SUBMITTED
Memorandum to the VII CPC has been submitted by the Association. VII CPC has been requested to give an opportunity of oral evidence so that the demand made in the memorandum can be justified.

Income Tax exemption limit raised to Rs.2.5 lakh and under Section 80C limit raised to Rs 1.5 lakh.

Rs 1.5 lakh.
Finance Minister Arun Jaitley presenting Union Budget 2014-15 in Parliament, raised individual tax exemption limit to Rs.2.5 lakh from current Rs. 2.0 lakh.
For Senior Citizen tax exemption limit also increased to 3 lakh.
The Central Government today hiked the exemption limit for investments by individuals in financial instruments to Rs 1.5 lakh under section 80C.
Housing Loan Rebate is raised from Rs 1.5 lakh to 2.0 lakh.
And one more relief to the depositors of Public Provident Fund, the ceiling limit will raised to Rs. 1.5. lakh form current level of Rs. 1.0 lakh.

Welcome to all and good morning. I have been elected the
President of the Association of Junior Engineers, Central Water Commission for
the term of two years 2014-16.
Remember, common interest cannot be fought by individual for
which a “forum duly recognized” is must. Please convey to all Junior Engineers to
come forward and join hands with us. I am enclosing a copy of the authorisation
form. All may fill the fresh form for willingness and sent to the Association
for recommendation. As per bye-laws the subscription would be deducted on Annual
basis @ Rs. 120/= per annum deductable as lum-sum in any one month of
that year.
You all may ensure that the annual
subscription for 2013-14 onwards is deducted and remitted to the Association.
Branch Secretaries may spend few minutes for this purpose and also mobilize to
improve the membership to strengthen our Association.
Your Co-Operation and support is our
strength to boost our fight and struggle for the right cause. Be
united and strengthen the Association to fight for our legitimate right and
social justice.

BIENNIAL GENERAL BODY MEETING HELD ON 13 JULY, 2014

As earlier informed, Biennial General Body Meeting of our Association as well as the election for the year 2014-16 for Central Executive Committee has been held on 13.07.2014 by 10.30 AM at Conference Hall of Transit Camp of P&I Division, CWC at Faridabad.
Result of the Election is placed below. Now I want to say good by to all as I have been promoted and joined as Assistant Director-II at Baroda. I am thankful to you
as all of you even seniors have extended co-operation / co-ordination for all
most a year of duration in this forum. Well wishes to the New Team.

BI-ANNUAL GENERAL BODY MEETING OF THE ASSOCIATION
Comrades,
As earlier informed, it is the time to hold the Bi-annual General Body
Meeting of our Association as well as the election for the year 2014-16 for
Central Executive Committee. We are proposing to hold the meeting on
13.07.2014 by 10.30 AM. at Conference Hall of Transit Camp of P&I Division,
CWC at Faridabad.
Office Bearers of each unit are requested to make it convenient
to attend the meeting, atleast one member from each branch and make the General
Body Meeting a successful one. Your valuable suggession/ comments are welcome
to improve our work/ activities in a constructive way and fight for legitimate
rights.
Just before attending G.B. Meeting you may also internally hold
the meeting of your branch and get it elected/ nominated as a representative of
your branch. Above deceleration may be sent to the Association by post.
