Demand of the ‘Association
of Junior Engineers, CWC’ to enhance the financial powers of the Junior
Engineers under permanent imprest in respect of works to ensure smooth
functioning of the field offices/sites has been considered by the Central Water
Commission. Orders to enhance the powers from existing ` 250/- to ` 500/- has been
issued. Copy of the order is placed below-

ReplyDeleteJunior Engineers aregiven permanent imprest for day to day works.Out of this amount they have to procure material by cash. For this purpose they areauthoriseto purchase the material up to an amount of Rs. 500/-. Beyond this amount they have to take approval of Sub Divisiopnal Engineer up to Rs. 1500/-. Above Rs. 1500/- the material is to be purchased through supply orders.
